Apples, nuts, and cinnamon are the classy fall & winter combination and you should definitely not skip it even this year!

We all love to enjoy nice warm oatmeal, especially during rainy autumn days. What can be better, then the classy combination of apples, cinnamon, and some nuts?
Here is why you should include this combo into your meal plan:
Apples are a great source of fiber, vitamin C, and potassium which made them weight-loss-friendly food. As well, they can help lower blood sugar and prevent diabetes.
Cinnamon has anti-inflammatory and antioxidants abilities, which may protect us from cancer and heart diseases.
Pecans, like the rest of the other nuts, contains various nutrients, minerals, antioxidants, and vitamins, that offer some wonderful health benefits such are cardiovascular and digestive health
Ingredients:
1 cup oat flakes
1/4 cup water
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tbsp of honey
1/2Â apple
handful of pecans
1 tbsp chia seeds
Directions:
Add one cup of water and one cup of oat flakes into a small pot and warm up in medium heat (or microwave for 1 minute).
Stir with one teaspoon of cinnamon and some honey until the mixture is warm and thick.
Transfer into a bowl and sprinkle with chia seeds, fresh apple slices, pecans, and extra honey if desired.
