Protein Banana Nutella Bread

Outside is getting cooler that means the right time to get into some baking and warm up our life with some sweet goodies! What could be better than quick banana-Nutella bread enriched with some protein?


(For 12 portions)

1 cup whole grain flour

1 cup oats

1 serving banana protein powder (optionally you can use vanilla or chocolate flavour)

1 baking powder

1 mashed banana

3 big scoops of Greek yoghurt

4 eggs

1 scoop Nutella

For top:

1 banana

Few drops of Nutella



  1. Add all the dry ingredients into one large bowl and stir well (flour, oats, baking powder, protein powder).

  2. In a separate bowl combine all wet ingredients (mashed banana, eggs, yoghurt, Nutella) and mix well until evenly combined.

  3. Add the wet mixture into a large bowl with dry ingredients and stir well, then transfer to a baking sheet (I have used 30x30) covered with baking paper and spread the pastry over.

  4. Top with slices of banana and a few drops of Nutella for some extra sweetness and texture. Sprinkle with the allspice and bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes on 180 Celsius.

  5. Let to cool and enjoy for breakfast or for a quick snack.

TIP: You can always warm up a piece of banana bread in a microwave before serving and enjoy it with some melted butter or your favorite nut spread!
